BOUNDARIES

It’s fourth down at the end of a tight game. Your favorite team is playing their bitter rivals, and they need a touchdown to win. The QB drops back, throws into the corner of the end zone and somehow the receiver makes a miraculous catch! You leap for joy in celebration as the room explodes! But then it happens. The referee blows his whistle and signals that the catch is no good. The replay confirms it. Even though the receiver made a spectacular catch, his foot landed out of bounds. No good. Game over.

Like it or not, boundaries are extremely important. It is crazy how a 2-inch stripe around the perimeter can largely determine the outcome of the game. But the same is true in life. The boundaries that you set can have an enormous impact on the outcome of your life. So the question is, where do you draw the line? When it comes to your morals, relationships, even entertainment… where’s the line? In this series we will take a look at the difference between what you could do and what you should do, and we will discover how to determine the proper boundaries in your life.
