About Us

Recent studies show that 70% of students will walk away from the church when they graduate high school. That is an alarming statistic! At Oneighty, we exist to lead students in a life-changing, spirit-empowered relationship with Jesus Christ and eradicate that 70%. Here is how we do this.

Know

The schedule of a typical student today is busier than it has ever been, but we believe that church is essential not optional. Church is where you hear the Word of God, and that's what builds your faith and helps you get to know the character of God. That is why we will gather regularly to create face to face moments with God for our students.

Wednesday Nights
Each Wednesday night at 7:00 PM we gather in 2 different locations. At the Oneighty building by our Central Campus and at our South Campus, we gather for worship, a short message, small groups, and fun. At our central campus, food and drinks are available for purchase.

United Night

On the First Wednesday of each month, we throw a big party for our students. This is the one chance a month when all of our 6th-12th graders from every campus come together for a worship experience created just for them.  Each United Night includes amazing worship and a message from a guest speaker or one of our staff pastors, plus an opportunity to hang out, meet new friends and play some games. This is also an opportunity for students to serve as part of our worship team or production team. United Nights begin at 7:00 PM and end at 8:30 PM, and we look forward to it all month long.

Grow

We believe that spiritual growth happens best in the context of relationships, which is why we do small groups in every environment at Oneighty. Our small groups exist to provide students with the opportunity to grow more like Christ by moving one step forward at a time.

That is why we have small groups built-in to all of our student environments. On Wednesday nights at Oneighty for 6th-10th graders, Oneighty Varsity for 11th and 12th graders, and at our South Campus for 6th-12th graders, we have small groups that meet on site directly after the message.

In all of our weekend environments for 6th-8th graders at all of our campuses, a large part of our Oneighty Jhi services is dedicated to small groups as well.

Discover and Go

At Oneighty, we believe that it is important for us to step outside of ourselves and outside of our walls to serve others. For students, it is often in the going that you discover who God created you to be and what He created you to do. That is why we provide opportunities for students to discover their purpose and use their gifts to serve others in three ways.

Serving at our Weekend Services
One of the main reasons that we do not have a high school specific service on the weekends is because we want our students to be serving in our kids environments as worship leaders, small groups leaders, production volunteers, hosting games on stage, and more. We also have opportunities for students to serve in some of our adult environments such as the cafe, parking lot, production, and other opportunities. To get plugged into serving at our weekend services, go here.

Local Outreaches
We offer monthly outreach opportunities for our students to serve together in the local community because we know that you don’t have to go oversees to find hurting people who are far from God. These are great opportunities for small groups to serve together. To find out about our next outreach, go here.

Global Missions
Going on a missions trip is one of the best ways to discover your purpose and grow in your relationship with Christ. We believe that a different place and a different pace provides a different perspective on life. Missions trips provide an opportunity for students to step outside of their comfort zone and do things that they never thought that they could do.
