Missions Trips

We believe that one of the best ways to grow in your relationship with God and discover your purpose is to go on a missions trip! That is why we are offering 4 opportunities for our students to go beyond themselves and beyond our city on a missions trip in 2018. Here are the upcoming student trips that you can be a part of.

St. Louis Dream Center: October 18-22, 2017 (Registration Deadline: August 15, 2017)

On Fall Break of 2017 we will be heading to St. Louis to serve with the St. Louis Dream Center, a church in inner-city St. Louis that has been serving the local community for over 16 years. Started by Joyce Meyer Ministries after a visit to the LA Dream Center, the St. Louis Dream Center serves their community weekly with Adopt-a-block, Nursing Home Ministry, Street Ministry, Kidz Jam and more. Tepic, Mexico: March 18-25, 2018 (Registration Deadline: September 1, 2017)

We can't wait to partner with La Fuente Ministries in Tepic, Mexico over Spring Break 2018! Their missionaries and staff of over 50 people are doing great things in Mexico. This ministry has planted over 20 church locations, an orphanage, bible school, and has a huge impact in Mexico! Our team will bring their ongoing work a big boost through kids ministry, street outreach, evangelism, personal invitations to church, and construction projects. We will have an opportunity to help at their children's home (orphanage) and minister at the juvenile hall (youth jail). Our week in Mexico will no doubt be an answer to many prayers for many people in Mexico! The cost for this trip is $1600, which covers food, lodging, airfare, and ground transportation. To apply for this trip, go here.

Belize: June 4-11, 2018 (Registration Deadline: December 1, 2017)

On this trip we will be joining experienced missionaries in their work of reaching out to the Belizean people through local village churches. Our group will greatly enhance the impact of outreaches like kids ministry events, youth ministry events, house to house visits, and community outreach to village areas. Each day will be spent strategically working in communities with great need in a way that builds up the reputation of the local church to reach people for Jesus. We will also have the opportunity to experience an organized free day in the Central American jungle with activities like hiking and cave tubing. The cost for this trip is $1800, which covers food, lodging, airfare, and ground transportation. To apply for this trip, go here.

Japan: June 22- July 2, 2018 (Registration Deadline: December 1, 2017)

In the summer of 2016, we made our first missions trip to Japan, where historically, it has been “hard” to reach people. However, we found it to be one of the most successful short term missions trips of the year! Our ministry partner in Tokyo, tokyo.mylifehouse.com is taking new ground every month, reaching the next generation in Japan. The goal is simple and clear: go out into the universities and busiest districts of Tokyo and “make friends” with students and young professionals. Inviting new friends to church and introducing them to the exciting and life-giving environment of Lifehouse Church is a proven and effective way of introducing the Japanese people to Jesus! You will also have time to experience the culture, food, and sights of the largest city and one of the best cities in the world! The cost for this trip is $3500, which covers food, lodging, airfare, and ground transportation. To apply for this trip, go here.

Los Angeles Dream Center: July 16-22, 2018 (Registration Deadline: December 1, 2017)

The mission of the Dream Center is to find a need and fill it. In July of 2018 we will be taking a team of students to Los Angeles to do just that. When many people think of LA they think of the glamorous side of the city, but LA has one of the largest homeless populations in America as well. Our team will be working with the Dream Center to those communities who are in need and helping with outreaches throughout the city. The cost of this trip is $1500, which covers airfare, lodging, food, and ground transportation while in Los Angeles. For more information, or to apply, go here.
